when Emily was a senior in High School, the teacher did a trivia test about old singers, rock and roll and the like.
And Emily was the only one who knew all the answers to all the old songs, The Beatles, Elvis, The Doors etc…
And her classmates were amazed that she knew so much.
her teacher who is in his fifties asked her how she knew so many answers and she simply said “This is what my parents listened to and I grew up with this music year after year!”
How cool is that?
Any old rock and roll songs from the fifties, sixties and seventies is better then the crap they play today.
But since I’m climbing the ladder to fifty, maybe I’m just thinking like a middle aged person?
No…that can’t be……
